Personal information and client case notes are necessary for the assessment and treatment provided by this service. All personal information and case notes are securely stored on the online platform known as Halaxy.

Confidentiality may be limited in the following situations:

1. If a court subpoenas the information.

3. If disclosure is required or authorized by law, such as in cases of suicidal mental health crises, child sexual assault, or abuse.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

You are expected to give at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation to avoid a cancellation fee. You will be expected to pay for the session if you do not provide sufficient notice. The counsellor will also try to provide reasonable notice of any changes.

Cancellation can be made by contacting the service by email or phone.

MAKING THE MOST OF EACH SESSION: Sessions last 50 minutes, with 10 minutes allocated for note-taking. The entire session time is reserved for you, whether you choose to attend or not. Your counsellor will be present for the entire duration of the session. If you arrive partway through your allotted time, the counsellor will see you for the remaining portion. Any missed sessions will need to be paid for at the agreed rate.

FEES: Fees are payable and charged automatically to your credit card at the end of each session. Please note that this counselling service does not attract any Medicare rebate, so the client is required to pay full payment for each session.

For NDIS clients, the invoice will be sent directly to them or their plan manager after the session concludes.

TERMINATION: When you feel ready to end your counselling or coaching contract, it is essential to discuss this with your counsellor so that you can plan to conclude your work in a satisfactory manner
